The Rev Steve Clark who has been the minister here for the past 8 years has now retired. We wish him and his wife Sue, God's blessing for a long and happy retirement together. They left many friends here in Glenfield, New Parks and Markfield, with fond memories, when they 'returned to their roots' to live in the Doncaster area.
We now look forward to welcoming the Rev Helen Bell and her husband Fred, who will be joining us shortly.
We realise that with the current situation the task of relocating their home to join a new community is not going to be easy. "Social distancing" is going to make it very difficult. We pray that they receive God's strength and guidance throughout this challenging period.
Remember that whilst we have been unable to meet in our churches, our retiring minister has been making short videos, adding to the series he has called Minister's Musings. In these he addresses a wide range of issues about life and faith, he also includes some elements of his own story.
This series followed the ones Steve made during Holy Week. These are still available to view by clicking on the following links.
